Welcome to TaoScope ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection when you use our website at taoscope.com (the "Service").

  • Wallet addresses when you connect your wallet (public blockchain data only)
  • Contact form submissions (including open-role applications): name, email, message, optional role focus, and optional résumé file name; résumé PDFs may be stored temporarily in Redis when attached

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, access times) for security purposes
  • Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics

2.3 Blockchain Data

We display publicly available blockchain data from the Bittensor network. This includes validator information, subnet data, transaction history, and wallet balances. This data is public by nature of blockchain technology and is not collected by us.

3. What We Don't Collect

TaoScope is built with privacy in mind. We do NOT:

  • Use tracking cookies or third-party analytics
  • Store your private keys or seed phrases
  • Sell or share your personal information with third parties
  • Track your browsing activity across other websites
  • Require account registration to use the Service
  • Store wallet connection data on our servers

  • Bittensor Network: Public blockchain data
  • CoinGecko: TAO price data
  • Taostats: Historical network data
  • Wallet Extensions: Polkadot.js, Talisman, SubWallet (client-side only)
  • MongoDB Atlas (or compatible): Stores contact and job application records when configured
  • Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure
  • Upstash: Redis caching (no personal data stored)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect our Service:
